Initial setup - Any Venue

Opening advertising account - We register you for an advertising account using your credit card information. OR, IF YOU PREFER, we talk you through setting up the account yourself so that you enter the credit card info. We still need the registration and password for your advertising account.
Assisting you with artwork - We design and create advertisements for you, either from scratch or using your existing artwork. We advise you about specific art requirements based on which advertising placements we recommend. For example, some ads must be 140 pixels wide x 200 pixels high with a 30K file size limit, while others should be 728 pixels wide x 90 pixels high with a 50K file size limit.
Placing advertisements - We submit your artwork to the publication for approval, reserve your advertising space, and determine specific advertisement placements.
Multi-venue discount - When performed at the outset of the original advertising campaign, the one-time set-up charge for each additional venue is discounted.

Ongoing Support - Ravelry

Renewing Ravelry advertising campaign monthly - We renew your Ravelry advertising space each month. (Ravelry currently accepts only one month's advertisement reservations at a time.)
Campaign monitoring and adjusting placements - Ravelry currently has nine different categories of advertising, one of which has over 6000 groups to select from. We monitor your advertisements weekly to see how many impressions and clicks they have had, and we assess and change advertisement placements based on this data.
Analyzing results monthly - We provide a monthly analysis of impressions and clicks that your advertisements have generated. We determine which advertisements have been most effective and make strategy recommendations accordingly. As a part of this monthly service, we include analysis of your website statistics in terms of onlyi advertising campaigns; see below for details.

Website Statistics

Analyzing website statistics - Many web hosts give you access to statistics which show where visitors to your website are coming from, and this is incredibly valuable information. For example, one businessman recently commented that 50% of his website traffic was generated in Ravelry. As a part of our monthly service, we use your website statistics to provide analysis based on your online advertising.
Coordinating with your webmaster - If necessary, we consult with your webmaster to gain access to your web statistics. Depending on the quality of the statistics your web host provides, we work with your webmaster to install Google Analytics, a free service that provides in-depth statistics for each page of your website. There is a one--time charge for this consultation.
