Autoresponder Email services


Initial setup of account, including one list
  • Mapping campaign and overall list strategy - We discuss whom you want to reach and what you hope to accomplish.  We determine how many lists you need and we sketch out a 12-month email campaign for the first list.
  • Opening autoresponder account - We register you for an autoresponder account using your credit card information.  OR, IF YOU PREFER, we talk you through setting up the account yourself so that you enter the credit card information.  We will still require the registration and password information of the autoresponder service.
  • Informing current contacts and importing their addresses - We use your regular email to inform your current contacts that they'll be receiving an invitation to your new mailing list.  They need to be notiried beforehand and asked to opt in to the new service.  Most autoresponder services require a specific opt-in action for imported addresses, so an automated invitation is sent to each address (after clients are notified in advance of the invitation).
  • Setting up first message to be mailed - We write (or edit your writing) a welcome message to be sent to people when they first opt in to the service.
  • Providing code for sign-up form on your website - We provide the code to be placed on your website, where new visitors may subscribe to your mailing list.

  • Setting up first message to be mailed to each list - We write (or edit your writing) a welcome message to be sent to people when they first opt in to the service.
  • Providing code for sign-up form on your website - We provide the code to be placed on your website, where new visitors may subscribe to each mailing list.
Taking over/Renewing existing autoresponder services
  • Mapping campaign strategy - We discuss whom you want to reach and what you hope to accomplish.  We determine how many lists you need and sketch out a 12-month email campaign for each list.
  • Updating welcome message - We update your welcome messages for new subscribers.
  • Setting up first messages of new campaigns - We write (or edit your writing) the first messages of each new campaign.
  • Updating list - Depending on how recently your lists have been active, some list maintenance may be necessary.

Ongoing support
  • List maintenance - We monitor bounced messages, canceled subscriptions and open rates to keep lists accurate and up-to-date.
  • Preparing messages - We write messages (or edit your writing) and schedule them to be sent.  Please note that you pay only once for an individual message, even when it can effectively be sent out to multiple lists.
