Arkansas FiberArts Extravaganza
"Show and Share" Fashion Show Do you have a completed project you're particularly proud of? Something you'd love to show to other fiber enthusiasts? This is your chance to share your prized project with everyone knowing that they'll appreciate its design and color and the hours of work you devoted to it. Here are the guidelines:
1. Select an item or items you have knitted, crocheted, or woven that you would like to share in the Arkansas FiberArts Extravaganza Share and Show. Garments, blankets, throws, pillows, baby items, toys, and other items are all welcome. You must be willing to model your own item or have a friend or family member model it for you; for non-garment items, you can be Vanna. You also must be able to attend the Arkansas FiberArts Extravaganza, December 4-5, 2009, at The Lodge at Mount Magazine. 2. Click here to download and print out a submission form. 3. Take two photographs of your item, one modeled by a person and one on a hanger or lying flat. (Photos are optional, if you don't have a way to get them, but be very precise in your written description.) 4. Using 100 words or less, write a description of your item. 5. Email your submission form information, photos, and description to Heather Zbinden at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it by Friday, November 13, 2009. Submissions may also be mailed to her at 1318 Pine Valley Road, Little Rock, AR 72207. Please have them postmarked by Friday, November 13, 2009. 6. Please limit submissions to two per person. A matching hat and scarf may be considered a set. 7. Please don't send Heather your knitted, crochet, or woven item! You are responsible for bringing your item with you to the Arkansas FiberArts Extravaganza. 8. You will receive an email notification that your submission has been received by Friday, November 20. This notification will include further instructions. 9.
