WHAT IS IT? The Annual Arkansas FiberArts Extravaganza is a gathering of knitters, spinners, crocheters, and weavers; Arkansans and non-Arkansans; women, men, and children; Ravelers and non-Ravelers; old, young, and inbetween; grannies and goths. Did we leave anyone out? They're invited, too!

Mt. Magazine Hearth Room

WHERE IS IT? The Lodge at Mt. Magazine is nestled in the western part of Arkansas about 20 miles (30 minutes) south of Paris. The Lodge features an enormous Hearth Room with an amazing view from the mountain top. When weather permits, we even visit with each other out on the terraces, with unobstructed views of the breathtaking scenery.

HOW DO I REGISTER? Registration is $10.00 if paid in advance, $12.00 at the door. You may CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ONLINE or mail a check or money order to Arkansas FiberArts Extravaganza, 405 E. Rosedale St., Paris, AR 72855.

IS THERE A DEADLINE? Pre-registration DEADLINE is December 1, 2009. The more people who register, the more vendors and sponsor's we'll attract!

WHAT ABOUT SOUVENIRS? The first 200 people to register will receive a "swag bag" imprinted with the Extravaganza logo and filled with souvenirs and goodies from sponsors. UPDATE: Souvenir tees, bags, mugs, and decals are now available for pre-order. Ordering deadline is Monday, October 26, 2009. Click here to order souvenirs.

WHERE DO I STAY? For Dec. 4-5, 2009, we have booked the large conference area and the following block of rooms and cabins:

The Lodge is a non-smoking facility. Our group will be liable for a $250.00 per room cleaning fee if this policy is violated.

HERE ARE SOME OTHER POSSIBLE PLACES TO STAY:

Here's a pair of cabins in Magazine, AR, about 20-30 minutes from The Lodge. I know the owner, she's very sweet.
Cowie Wine Cellars in Paris has a B&B. It's about 30 minutes from The Lodge. I live in Paris and will be making the drive myself...it's not bad. I also know this owner and he's nice, too.
The Paris Inn (30 minutes) has rates between $50 and $60.The phone number is 479-963-2400.
